How to Manage Link Campaigns and Track Performance
URLNIX campaigns let you group multiple short links together under a single campaign name — like "Q3 Email Launch" — and see combined analytics across all of them in one view. Instead of checking each link individually, you see total campaign performance at a glance.
Creating a Campaign
- In your Dashboard, go to the Campaigns tab
- Click New Campaign
- Give the campaign a descriptive name (e.g., "Product Launch — August 2026")
- Optionally add a description
- Click Create
You can start adding links immediately after creating the campaign.
Adding Links to a Campaign
Two ways to add links:
From the campaign view: Click Add Link inside the campaign. Create a new short link and it will be automatically associated with this campaign.
From an existing link: Open any link's detail panel → Settings tab → Campaign field → select the campaign from the dropdown.
Campaign Analytics
The campaign detail view shows aggregate analytics across all links in the campaign:
- Total clicks across all links in the campaign
- Click trend chart showing combined volume over time
- Top-performing links — ranked by total clicks
- Referrer breakdown — combined across all links
- Device and country breakdown — combined across all links
You can also drill down into any individual link's analytics from within the campaign view.
Campaign Strategy: One Campaign Per Channel
For maximum insight, create separate campaigns per marketing channel for the same launch:
- Email campaign: all links used in email newsletters
- Social campaign: all links used in social media posts
- Paid ads campaign: all links used in ad placements
This lets you compare total campaign performance across channels without UTM parameter setup.
Bulk Link Creation in Campaigns
When you need to create many links for a campaign at once, use the Bulk Shortener from inside the campaign view. All bulk-created links are automatically assigned to that campaign.
Archiving Campaigns
After a campaign ends, archive it to keep your campaigns list clean. Archived campaigns preserve all links and analytics — they just move out of the active view. You can restore them at any time.
