Common Questions

How do I shorten my first URL?
Log into your dashboard, paste your destination URL into the shortener bar, and click Shorten. You'll get a 7-character short code instantly.
How do I view click analytics?
Open any link in your links table, click the Analytics tab in the detail panel. You'll see click volume over time, top referrers, device type, country, and browser breakdowns.
What is the difference between a custom alias and a random code?
Random codes are 7-character strings generated automatically (e.g. urlnix.live/xT8yK2a). Custom aliases are words or phrases you choose (e.g. urlnix.live/my-brand). Custom aliases are a Pro feature.
How do I reset my password?
Click 'Forgot Password?' on the sign-in page, enter your email, and you'll receive a reset link valid for 15 minutes.
What happens when my Pro plan expires?
Your account downgrades to Free automatically. All existing links remain active, but Pro features (custom aliases, advanced analytics, etc.) are paused until you renew.
